TERROR: Boko Haram installs “new Emir” in Bama

Reports have it that boko haram sect has installed a “new Emir” in Bama, the second largest city in Borno State after Maiduguri.

It was learnt that the terrorists installed one of its members named  Mohammed Danjuma, widely known  among the sect for his brutality as the “new Emir” of Bama. This development is coming on the heel of the appointment of a new Emir for Gwoza, another strategic town it also captured after a fierce battle with Nigerian troops.

The capture of Bama by the sect generated controversy within the past few days with claims and counter claims over who is in control of the town dominating the media.

While the Nigeria army claimed it dealt a heavy blow to the terrorist who had earlier taken control of the town and took possession of it, the boko haram sect on the other hand dispel the claims of the military and declared that it is in control of the town. With the installation of a “new Emir”, the sect has effectively shown that it is in control.
