I Will Marry Any Man That Can Look Me In The Eye & Say I Forgive You For Sleeping Around – Genevieve Nnaji

Nollywood star actress Genevieve Nnaji say’s she is yet to get married because she yet to see a man that can forgive her doings, According to her, she says:

“As for marriage, it’s every woman’s dream to get married. We can’t lie to ourselves. I do want to get married but overtime I have had opportunities to get married but I realize getting married is not actually the problem.

The problem is finding someone you are compatible with because I’m born Catholic, I’m raised Catholic, I don’t believe in divorce. If I get married, I really want to stay married and staying married is not an easy thing.

It means you are completely in tune with your partner.

It means you’ve found your soul mate because you’ll have to be able to stand a lot of disappointments that would definitely come but then again you have to learn to forgive.

For me, before I choose a partner I have to ask myself if this is the kind of person I would be willing to forgive no matter what when the time comes.

If the answer is no, then that person is wrong for me. That person is not the person you want to get married to.

If you know you can look into someone’s eyes and say yes, this is the most you can do to me.

If you actually cheat on me the first time, I can find it in my heart to forgive you.

If you can answer that question honestly and truthfully to yourself then you’ll know if that person is your partner or not.

So compatibility is the word aside from the physical attributes that have to go with it.

I need to be comfortable because I’m a woman and I’m used to a certain lifestyle.”

Wait a minute, Gene are you having plans to cheat in marriage?

No man can ever guarantee you forgiveness, He can only say it.

Moreover, can you honestly deep down in your heart forgive someone for cheating on you?

Late PH doctor knew diplomat had Ebola Virus – Rivers State Govt

At a press conference on Friday evening August 29th, Rivers State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Samson Parker, said that late Dr. Iyke Enemou, who treated ECOWAS diplomat Olu Koye (pictured above), was aware that Mr Koye had the Ebola Virus Disease.
"He had received the late Dr. Patrick Sawyer in Lagos. Upon developing the symptom, confided in a female colleague, called Lilian, who contacted the late Enemuo. It was after contact was established with Dr. Enemuo that Olu Koye flew to Port Harcourt to see him. To conceal his movement, Koye, who had been quarantined among other people for having primary contact with the late Dr. Sawyer, the Liberian-American who transmuted the Ebola virus into Nigeria, sneaked out of the isolation unit where he was being observed and took a flight to Port Harcourt and switched off his phone so that he could not be reached or traced should he answer a call.” Continue...
When he got to Port Harcourt, he checked into Mandate Gardens Hotel in the Rumunokoro area in Obio/Akpor LGA which is close to Sam Steel Clinic where Dr. Enemuo worked.
"From what we have gathered so far, Dr. Enemuo, knowing that Koye was positive of the Ebola virus took some measures of precaution to protect himself while treating Koye.
“Knowing the enormity of what he was doing, Enemuo upon Koye’s departure for Lagos, poured bleach all over the room that Koye slept in order to sanitise the place.”
The commissioner revealed that Dr Enemuo, after falling ill, asked another doctor at Good Heart Hospital along Evo Road in G.R.A. to treat him, but at no point did Dr Enemuo tell his colleague that he may have contracted the Ebola virus, instead he lied that he had fever.
"He lied. He did not tell the doctor that was treating him his full story. But the doctor, a nice and conscientious professional, suspected that Enemuo was either hiding something or was suffering from a strange ailment because he proved negative to malaria, fever and typhoid fever.
“To be sure of what he was doing, he spoke to other very experienced doctors about the strange case he was handling in his hospital.”
The commissioner said the doctor treating Enemuo even invited some other doctors to come over to his hospital to see if they could understand Enemuo’s strange illness but no doctor came.

Dr. Enemuo's health deteriorated until he died on August 22nd after which his body was taken to the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital.

Say What? Human Parts Possession Isn’t A Crime – Suspect Opens Up

The police in Lagos have arrested two citizens of the Republic of Benin for being in possession of human parts.

One of the suspects, Djassau Gerard was caught trying to enter Nigeria with a human skull.

He confessed and led police to his accomplice, Sessou Djiman, a native doctor at Owode area of Ogun State.

Djassau said:

“There is nothing wrong in one going about with human parts in our country. In fact, when someone is believed to have been struck dead by thunder, the body will not be buried, because it is a taboo.

The corpse will be taken to the home of a traditionalist. The traditionalist or native doctor keeps the corpse, allows it to decompose and then dries it.

Thereafter, anybody who is interested in any of the parts will come for it without any payment,”

“It was through a native doctor that I met Djiman and discovered that he has more powers. I returned to Nigeria to meet him for more power,”

The skull was found hidden in a bag by the police during a routine stop and search operation.

Prophet Who Predicted Ebola Virus Says The World Is Yet To See The Worst

Brother Joshua Iginla (Prophet) and the General Overseer of Champions Royal Assembly Church based in Abuja has said the world is yet to see the worst of Ebola.

The Prophet who predicted in December 2013 that a certain virus would hit the world says scientists are doing their part and its left for spiritual leaders to come together, so they can take care of the spiritual aspect. His words;

There is a spiritual undertone to the issue. There is a link between the witchcraft coven and the marine world that lures people into hell and this is what I’m seeing. I am not mincing words.

God revealed it to me which I have said that there would be something like a vaccine or hope that would come and it would be discovered by a group of scientists led by a white scientist with a bald head and this research will bring about 10 per cent hope.

However, there is hope if spiritual leaders can complement the work of the scientists.  As they are putting their heads together, we should also assemble to pray for the world.

The way out is for us to adhere to measures put in place to prevent it and most important, turn to God.

Diego Costa Must Learn Respect – Martinez

Everton manager Roberto Martinez says Chelsea striker Diego Costa needs to learn to show his opponents respect.

The £32m signing from Atletico Madrid scored twice in a 6-3 win at Goodison but was booked for a clash with Seamus Coleman after the latter’s own goal.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho felt Everton players tried to aggravate Costa.

But Spaniard Martinez said: “There are certain foreign players who come to the Premier League who need to understand the ethics and the culture.”

Costa was involved in an altercation with home keeper Tim Howard after the striker appeared to goad Coleman for the own goal that put Chelsea 3-1 up.

Martinez added:

“The behavior in the British game is unique.

“The last thing you want to see is disrespect from a player to another player and I am sure he will learn that very quickly.

“There is a real professionalism and respect in the league so you can understand why the players weren’t happy with that, in the same way as trying to buy free-kicks with the way he plays.”

Diego Costa was confronted by Everton keeper Tim Howard after Chelsea’s third goal Costa has now scored four goals in three Premier League appearances as Chelsea maintained their 100% start to the season.

Christian men beheaded, women forced to become Muslim – witnesses Reveals

Boko Haram gunmen have killed scores of residents in a Nigerian town on the border with Cameroon that they captured in recent raids, witnesses told AFP on Saturday.

The militants seized Gamboru Ngala earlier this week after taking over military and police facilities in a fierce gun battle which forced thousands of residents across the border into Cameroon.

The residents fled to Fotokol for fear of attack by the Islamists, despite being told they were only after security personnel and local vigilantes.

“They are now killing people like chickens,” said Sidi Kyarimi, a Gamboru resident who fled to Fotokol on Friday. “They started by selective killings and later went on a killing spree.”

Among those killed included the town’s highest Muslim cleric and the head of its traders’ union, he said.

“They threaten to kill anybody who refuses to leave the town. They say we don’t belong,” he added.

The insurgents were roaming the streets of the town carrying guns and machetes, shooting and h*****g to death residents, said Yusuf Sanda, who also fled to Fotokol.

“They have been breaking into homes and shops and looting them,” he said.

“Initially they said we were free to stay or leave but now they are saying all residents should leave the town because it is now an Islamic Caliphate.”

Sanda said he escaped to Fotokol by wading through the shallow river on the border because it was too dangerous to walk the streets with the insurgents on the prowl.

Boko Haram has in recent weeks seized territory in northern Borno state near the border with Cameroon in an apparent move to carve out a state for themselves.

In a video obtained by AFP last weekend, Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau declared the town of Gwoza, which his men captured earlier this month, as part of an Islamic caliphate.

Boko Haram now controls at least three districts in Borno state and at least one each in Yobe and Adamawa states.

The military has maintained that Nigeria’s sovereignty is intact and denied reports that soldiers fled the Boko Haram assault in Gamboru Ngala into Cameroon.

Borno, Yobe and Adamawa have been under a state of emergency since May last year but despite some initial gains, the military has been unable to stem increasing violence, particularly in remote regions.

Madagali, a predominantly Christian town in the north of Adamawa state, was the latest to fall in the hands of Boko Haram after they chased out troops.

Scores of Christians were killed in the town and many Christian women were allegedly forced to convert to Islam and marry insurgents, according to the spokesman for the Roman Catholic diocese of Maiduguri.

“Christian men were caught and beheaded, the women were forced to become Muslim and were taken as wives to the terrorists,” Father Gideon Obasogie alleged.

“The houses of Christians that have fled are now occupied by the Haramists. Their cars are used by the terrorists. Strict Sharia law had been promulgated”, he added in an emailed statement.

There was no independent confirmation of Obasogie’s claims due to poor phone networks in the remote region and the mass exodus of residents.

GOBE!! Oyakhilomes Divorce Splits Christ Embassy Members

Looks like members of Chris Oyakhilome’s Christ Embassy church are divided over his split from his wife Anita who filed for divorce a few months ago on the grounds of ‘unreasonable behaviour’ and ‘adultery’. On aFacebook page called ‘Where is Rev. Anita Oyakhilome,’ some members are putting their pastors and church on blast…

Yesterday, one member wrote

“I am a Christ Embassy member. I hate one thing there: How can a pastor be working together with a lady hand in hand, attending meetings and lodging in a hotel for days. My girlfriend travels with our branch pastor annually for PPCF which holds in Lagos. Only God knows.”

Another one wrote;

“Pastor Chris Oyakhilome must have been discovered compromising his marital bedbusiness. It is what it is. God says judgement will start from His house. ‘Touch not my anointed’ is God’s instruction regarding all His children, not an individual nicking, scheming, threatening monies off people’s purses and telling them that salvation is tied to tithes and that seed sowing is only money donation to the church/pastor’s coffers. One down, more to roll. Christ be praised.”

Another member of the page wrote

” I and my family left Christ Embassy for our own good after worshiping there for three years plus and seeing all the things going on under the disguise of church. And I can comfortably say that for over a year now, we have had so much peace in our Christian lives. I don’t care how you view my comment but truth must be told.”

Joseph Osagiede, however, responded saying the Oyakhilomes were still together. He said,

“I have been in Christ Embassy for 12 years. All is totally well with thier marriage. All those wishing them to split and also those going about saying nasty things about the church, be careful.” Faith Ebunoluwa Adetayo also said, “I have been in Christ Embassy since 1990s and I can authoritatively say some things: I have seen the power of God work, demonstrated in healings and many other things. I have seen how that Pastor Chris is less concerned about mistakes we make. “He believes that these sins of the flesh will disappear, only if we listen to the word of God. Rather than condemning us, he speaks words of encouragement. And for your information, Pastor Anita is still very much in the ministry and she’s with her darling husband.”

Meanwhile, the Christ Embassy has kept mum on the divorce case.

A woman, who picked Punch’s call to the Nigerian office of the church on Saturday, said she had no information to give on the matter. When asked to confirm if the divorce suit was true or not, she simply said, “I have no information to give on the matter.”

When another call was made to the church thorough another number, the respondent, who identified herself as Pastor Christabel, said the church had no information about the case. “No, we have no information on the matter,” she said.

My Target For Manchester United Is Making Top Four – Van Gaal

Louis van Gaal has set Manchester United an initial target of a top-four finish in this season’s Premier League.

United’s new manager is yet to deliver a competitive victory and suffered the indignity of a 4-0 defeat at League One MK Dons in Tuesday’s Capital One Cup tie.

Neither that setback, nor a return of just one Premier League point from two games, has dented the Dutchman’s confidence and he remains convinced he can bring a new era of domestic and European success to Old Trafford.

Van Gaal is even refusing to rule out a title challenge this season, but ahead of Saturday’s trip to Burnley he has again stressed it will take time to rebuild United’s squad and successfully implement his methods.

He said:

“Before September 1, I have given every player a reasonable chance – it would not have been good to come as a new manager and say ‘I want 11 new players’.

The process needs time and we are building up a new team. “I hope we shall succeed and that we are this year in the top four, because the Champions League suits a club like Manchester United.

“Then maybe the next step is to be champions and the next step after that is to be winner of the Champions League, but that needs time. A lot of clubs fight for many, many years and never succeed.

“We can still be the champions of England in my first year. Maybe you will laugh but in my former clubs I have started like this so for me it is not big news.”

Van Gaal reminded the press of the positive reports which accompanied United’s successful pre-season tour of the United States, where Roma, Real Madrid and Liverpool were all defeated.

He said:

“I was a king in the United States, and now I am not a king any more? I am the same Louis van Gaal with the same record and the same philosophy, and I am very confident I shall succeed here.”

Good News:- Lagos May Emerge Oil Producing State Next Year

Specifically, the Yinka Folawiyo-led joint venture has completed development-planning studies of the Aje oil field and planned to proceed with field start-up arrangements immediately.

The partners said the Final Investment Decision (FID) are expected in the near future with first production expected at the end of 2015.

The Field Development Plan (FDP), which was approved by the Nigerian Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) early this year, is primarily focused on the Cenomanian oil development.

The Aje Cenomanian crude is light, sweet under-saturated oil of approximately 39.4 API gravity with a gas oil ratio of 375-480 standard cubic feet per barrel (scf/bbl).

The joint venture participants have undertaken detailed development planning studies of the Aje field, which have now been completed and they are currently considering the proposal to proceed with the Phase 1 Cenomanian oil development.

Yinka Folawiyo Petroleum is operating the field with partners like Jacka Resources, New AGE, First Hydrocarbons Nigeria, Energy Equity Resources and Panoro Energy.

Chairman Jacka Reources, Max Cozijn, in a statement Tuesday said: “Jacka is pleased to achieve this milestone in the development of the Aje Field and of the company.

“Following the final investment decision by the joint venture the first significant activity in the field will be the drilling of Aje-5 and the completion of this well and the existing Aje-4 well, in first quarter 2015. Installation of the production facilities, including tying the wells to the FPSO, will occur later in 2015. Jacka looks forward to achieving first commercial production at the end of 2015,”

According to him, an independent report on the Aje field recently completed by AGR TRACS International on behalf of the joint-venture partners has indicated that the gross 2P oil reserves for the Phase 1 Cenomanian oil development are 23.4 million barrels.

The gross 2C contingent resources total an additional 179 million barrels of oil equivalent, of which 15.7 million barrels of oil is attributable to the Phase II Cenomanian oil development and the remainder to the later Turonian gas/condensate development.

The Aje Field is located in OML113, approximately 24 kilometres offshore Lagos, Nigeria.

OML113 covers an area of 835 square kilometres and water depths range from less than 100 metres to approximately 1,500 metres. The field, which is defined by 3D seismic, can be developed with wells drilled in conventional water depths of approximately 100-400 metres.

The company said, a new 3D seismic survey, covering the whole of OML113, was acquired earlier in 2014 and will be used for locating subsequent development wells as well as pursuing exploration and appraisal targets, including the possible extension of the Ogo discovery from the adjacent OPL310 exploration area.

The initial field discovery well, Aje-1 was drilled in 1996. A total of four wells have now been drilled on the Aje Field and hydrocarbon resources proven at three reservoir levels (Turonian, Cenomanian and Albian).

“An initial field production rate of approximately 10,000 barrels of oil per day is anticipated. Solution gas will be used as fuel. Drilling and completion operations are expected to commence in Q1 2015, with FPSO installation in mid-2015.

“All major contractors have been identified (FPSO, installation, flowlines, drilling among others) and contracting discussions are advanced, in most cases to draft contracts; which provides assurance on cost and availability of services.” it stated.

“No crude sales agreements have yet been entered into for the project but as the Cenomanian oil is a light crude and the project is located on major shipping routes to and from Nigeria’s main oil producing areas, sales and access to transport is not expected to be a problem.

“Following the approval of the FDP by the Nigerian authorities in Q1 of this year, there are no major environmental or regulatory approvals outstanding,” it stated.

How I survived Ebola – Late nurse' fiance, Dennis Akagha speaks

Dennis Akagha, the fiance of Justina Ejelonu, the First Consultant Hospital nurse who died after being infected with the deadly Ebola virus by Liberian Patrick Sawyer, in this exclusive interview with Vanguard spoke about how his late fiancee contracted the deadly disease, how she lost their unborn child while battling with Ebola, and also revealed that Justina had just landed the job at the hospital and met Sawyer on her first day there. He also spoke on how he got infected with the virus and how he finally got discharged. Fimd the in-depth interview after the cut...

On his relationship with the late Justina, Dennis said;
"The  truth is that Justina and I were not legally married, we were planning for our traditional marriage in October and she just got this job. She was a qualified graduate nurse and got the job at the First Consultant Hospital in Lagos. She resumed duty at the hospital on the 21st of July, while Patrick Sawyer was admitted at the hospital on the 20th. He was her first patient. She was one of the nurses that nursed him. She was pregnant and so her immune system was weak, which made it easy for her to contract the disease. On that first day which was a Monday, she was having some pregnancy symptoms, but I just encouraged her to go because it was her first day at work. Sawyer was her first patient. The next day, Tuesday, she didn’t work on Sawyer. Wednesday and Thursday, she was off. Then on Friday, Patrick Sawyer died. They didn’t know he had Ebola, it was three days later that they realized it was Ebola" he said

On how he found out she had contracted the deadly virus, he said
"It was after Sawyer died that she told me she nursed him but that she was on gloves. She even thanked God that she didn’t have direct contact with him. The fever continued and we thought it was just pregnancy symptoms and even when she went to her hospital, they confirmed the same thing. She took drugs and ran tests, yet it persisted. At night, she was usually cold and feverish and her body temperature was usually very high. At a point, I began to suspect that she had contacted the virus. I did some research on the disease and realised that she was having similar symptoms. On the 14th of August, it became serious, she started stooling and vomiting. I had to clean up everything. All of a sudden, she started bleeding and she started crying that she had lost the pregnancy. I had to call her relatives and other people. The bleeding persisted and I had to clean up everything. Initially I was not wearing gloves because I felt I had already been exposed to the virus. But later I cautioned myself and started wearing nylon on my hands. But I couldn’t stay away from her. I kept consoling her. Even when I took her to the hospital, she wanted to hold me and I told her to also consider my safety. She managed to hold herself and was able to find her way out in a pool of her blood. We chartered a taxi to the hospital, but first, I took her to First Consultant Hospital because I felt they should know more. When we got there, I was directed to IGH, Yaba. I told the taxi driver to take us there. The driver wasn’t even aware of what was going on as he took us to Yaba.  Justina was on the floor for 30 minutes before she was attended to. She was screaming that she was going to die. She was seriously bleeding, she had to come out of the taxi and lay on the floor. I ran around, trying to get doctors to attend to her. After everything, they took her in, took her blood samples and the following day, the result came out that it was Ebola. They washed the taxi with chlorine and also bathed the taxi driver and I with chlorine spray. At that point, the taxi driver knew what was going on, he couldn’t even take me home because he was so scared. I had to look for somewhere to pass the night in the hospital. Early the next morning, I left the Hospital. The taxi driver is alive today, nothing happened to him. We have been checking on him and the last time we spoke he told me, he was fine" he said.
On what happened after he was exposed to the virus, Dennis said;
"14 days after I was exposed to Ebola, my temperature rose from the usual 35.2 degrees centigrade to 37.2. The Lagos State government gave me a thermometer the day I dropped Justina off at the centre. It took them two straight weeks to visit my home and to disinfect it. Before they came, I had already done the much I could do. I used bleach and detergent to clean the whole house, furniture and clothes inclusive. We should be reminded and educated that a healthy person with Ebola virus cannot get anybody infected, except if the person is sick and totally down with the virus like what happened to Sawyer and to my late wife-to-be, Justina. I contacted the virus because Justina was very sick and I was taking care of her without any appropriate protection. When we knew what we were dealing with it was almost too late for me as I had already contacted the virus" he said.

On what was done for him after his visit to the Isolation centre, Dennis said
"The Lagos State government sent health professionals to check on me regularly to know how l was doing or if l had the signs of the virus manifesting. So they used to come around to check on me. At some point they created scenes with their visits. I was embarrassed and I was stigmatized. I complained severely to them that I didn’t like what they were doing. Then, one Saturday they visited again, I complained about the pains I was beginning to experience; excruciating pains around my waist. I started praying and asking people to pray for me. Before this time, I believed in the Holy Communion, so I usually take it daily and do feet washing. I was going to the hospital daily to see late Justina. Initially, I was seeing her through the window and she would say I should take her out of the hospital. She complained of lack of care. Perhaps, Justina would have survived the virus, if not for the state she was in. Her immune system was down because she was pregnant. Along the line, she had a miscarriage and lost the baby due to the Ebola virus disease. The doctors, who were supposed to do an evacuation on her couldn’t do it because they claimed that an evacuation was too risky as she was heavily infected and may pass on the virus to another person. Since nothing was done even after the bleeding had stopped, it led to more complications for her because the already dead foetus somehow got rotten in the womb and started a damaging process which led to further complication. Meanwhile, she was still stooling and vomiting and since nobody could dare to touch her, she was left on top of her excretions even when she couldn’t do much for herself due to her weak state. She was given her incisions and other drugs. I believe if some people survived Justina should have been one of them. At a point, I wished I was a doctor myself; I would have taken the risk of doing the evacuation because it really affected her".
On the last day he say his late fiancee, Dennis said
"The last day I saw her, I had to go inside the ward because she was so unkempt as nobody attended to her. At that time, the quarantined patients were in the former facility where there was no water and she had messed up herself again. I had to look for water to clean her up, change her pampers and arrange her bedding. Since I was aware of what I was dealing with, I got myself protected while cleaning up the place. I made sure she looked better than when I saw her. Justina was shivering the last day I saw her, one side of her stomach was already swollen, and her legs were also swollen. I prayed for her.At a point, she needed oxygen and the hospital couldn’t provide it. Her friends had to provide it. That was the last day I saw her. On Sunday Morning, I called her line like I usually did before visiting her, but she didn’t pick her calls. When I got to the hospital, I was told that she was dead".

Asked if late Justina was taking his calls while she was at the Isolation center, Dennis said;
"Yes, in fact she called me that last day and I knew she was going to give up, because she was saying some funny things. She said I should tell my people to go and meet her father so as to finalize our marriage plans, that she’s leaving that place.
Asked if he was not scared that he would die form the illness seeing that his Fiancees health was deteriorating, Dennis said;
"I personally don’t believe in taking medications. I had the mentality that I wasn’t sick. I told the government what I was experiencing. On the day they came to pick me up for treatment, all of a sudden, my temperature went back to normal. The shivering and pains were all gone. So they decided that they would be checking on me. But it got to a point people stopped selling things to me. It was as if the government got a report that I shouldn’t be around. So, they came and said I should go with them that they wanted to take my blood sample. I went with them and they took my blood sample, I was kept in a ward known as the ‘suspected ward. The result came out and it was positive. I was then taken to a confined ward. One of the doctors from UNICEF, a white lady told me that they were having issues with the results and that they would have to re-run the tests. They did the tests again and it was still positive. I told them that it wasn’t my result and that I was healthy. I was even doing my usual exercises (press-ups) every morning. I kept telling them that I wasn’t sick. They took my blood sample the third time. That night, they told me that I tested negative in the last result and that I don’t have any reason to remain there. That was how I was discharged" he said
Speaking on what was hapening to his job as he was under isolation, Dennis said;
"I was a marketer in an oil and gas company. I worked on commission basis, but at a point, I realized that people were not calling me and when I called they won’t pick my calls. Even the person that I report directly refused to pick my calls and also refused to associate with me. Justina and I just got our jobs, she got hers at First Consultant Hospital and I got mine as a marketer with the oil and gas company.

On whether the government or First Consultant Hospital owes late Justina's family  some form of compensations, Dennis said;
"Although, no amount of money they give to the family will bring her back I think the government owes Justina’s family a lot because she died trying to save a situation. Justina died in active service as her death wasn’t natural".
On how his status changed from postive to negative, Dennis said
"I was reading a book on healing and taking of the Holy Communion. So I learnt to take Holy Communion morning, afternoon and night. I also engaged myself in feet-washing every day before going to bed. The Almighty God saved me; the Holy Spirit healed me. It wasn’t as though l didn’t fall sick as l had direct contact with Justina but the Almighty God healed me. When I was discharged, I got to my house on Saturday evening and spent two hours the next day, Sunday, thanking God on my own. I didn’t go to church or anywhere because of the already established stigma but today I can confidently attend church activities because I guess they all know I’m free now. I know my faith and belief healed me. God also worked for me apart from the fact that my immune system is also working. I believe I got healed also because friends prayed for me" he said.

BH foreign negotiator names Alimodu Sheriff as Boko Haram sponsor

In a recent interview with Arise News TV, Australian hostage negotiator, Stephen Davis, who was hired by the Nigerian government some months back to help negotiate with Boko Haram members to facilitate the release of abducted Chibok girls, mentioned the name of former Borno state Governor, Alimodu Sheriff as a sponsor of the terrorist group, Boko Haram. He also said that an unnamed past Chief of Army Staff who was sacked by Pres. Jonathan was also a sponsor of the group.

In the video released yesterday, Davis was very quick to mention the names of the alleged sponsors.
"The first thing to do.. go and arrest former Governor, Sheriff. Former Borno Governor Sheriff who has been funding this for years. He hooks these guys up. He is so frightened that he has switched party to the ruling PDP in the hope that this would give him protection. That guy has really got to go and you know he is enormously corrupt." Continue...
"Why the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has not yet picked him up is anybody's guess. There is a...the former Chief of Army Staff retired in January but was actually sacked by the President is another sponsor. I would give you the names if you like, I have no fear of this. We are very confident and in fact Boko Haram senior commanders who have been naming them in the interactions I have had with them over many months, confirming what we knew sometime before from other commanders" he said.
After the interview was released, former FCT Minister, Mallam Nasir El Rufai  took to his facebook page to say that the unnamed former army Chief is Lt. Gen Ihejirika rtd, the immediate past Chief of Army staff. Below is what El-Rufai posted on his facebook page

"Australian hostage negotiator Stephen Davis has just named Former Borno Governor Ali Modu Sheriff and immediate chief of army staff Lt-Gen Ihejirika (removed in January 2014) as the Boko Haram brains on ARISE NEWS.  Davis said Boko Haram commanders that he has been negotiating with as the source of this information. The kingpins not only finance BH operations but select targets for assassination and execution. Finally, the truth about BH is coming out. Hopefully, the murderers of General Muhammadu Shuwa, the abductors of the Chibok girls, those truly responsible for the Nyanya bombings, and attempted assassination of General Buhari and Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi will be known. We hope the authorities will take the steps necessary to act on this revelation, and thereby discharge their duty to protect us, the citizens of Nigeria. That is just what it is, a hope!".

Reacting to the claims against him made by El Rufai, Lt Gen Ihejirika who spoke with Vanguard said he isn't surprised that the allegation is coming from the former minister who he said is the real sponsor of Boko.
"The Commanders including El-Rufai know where the problem is. He should stop deceiving Nigerians by trying to divert attention. When the Boko Haram operation started, supporters of the sect like El Rufai said that there was nothing like Boko Haram and that the Army was just killing innocent youths. If you also remember, not too long ago, some of their supporters including El-Rufai said that I was re-inventing the killing of the Ibos during the Biafra war following government's determination to rid the country of terrorism. The likes of El Rufai started the campaign of human rights abuses in order to divert international attention from the heinous crime being committed by the Boko Haram terrorist. The likes of El Rufai have been supporting Boko Haram. Infact, El Rufai and his likes are the same group of people that ensured the army did not get the requested equipment to deal with the menace once and for all as they used their cohorts to tell the government that procuring modern equipment was unnecessary. At the onset of this crisis, I was the first person to declare that the country was at war but a group of sponsors led by El Rufai disagreed, saying that it was not true. It is the same group of El-Rufai that started the human rights abuses campaign. It was done in order to block any international assistance after the state of emergency was declared and the sect was initially tamed. That gave Boko Haram time and respite to build up again" he said

Pastor Oyakhilome’s wife files for divorce in London court, alleges adultery

According to The Cable, the dissolution of the marriage between Christ Embassy Church founder, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, and his wife, Rev. Anita Odegwa Oyakhilome, has entered the final phase.
The wife is seeking divorce on the grounds of “unreasonable behaviour” and “adultery”. She outlined several allegations against the pastor which cannot publish for legal reasons. The divorce case, with Suit No FD14D01650, was filed on April 9, 2014 at Divorce Section A, Central Family Court, First Avenue House, High Holborn, London, UK, on Anita’s behalf by Attwaters Jameson Hill Solicitors, a full-service law firm with expertise in commercial law and a strong consumer focus in family, wills and estate, personal injury law and medical negligence.
Efforts to reconcile the popular couple, whose church is one of the biggest denominations in Nigeria and has branches all over world, have failed. They have two teenage daughters, Sharon and Charlyn." Continue...

Oyakhilome is the president of Believers’ Love World Inc, the registered name of the Christian ministry, while his wife is the vice-president. The pastor, according to an elder of the church, has denied allegations of adultery and believes his wife is being influenced by “bad friends” who are intent on destroying their home. While Anita believes she has been relegated in the scheme of things in the church, her husband has reportedly accused her of trying to usurp power and authority above her seniors in the ministry. Sources told TheCable that the pastor had been making efforts to avoid divorce in the hope that the wife would eventually have a change of mind. However, the decree nissi was served on the charismatic pastor in his hotel room during a recent visit to the UK. Decree nissi, in legal terms, is like a yellow card in a football match which is a precursor to a red card (“decree absolute”) if no new evidence is provided to stall proceedings. Church insiders said Oyakhilome had been hoping for rapprochement, but he was left with no option than to receive the papers when the lawyers cornered him at his hotel in London. The decree absolute, which will effectively end the marriage, is expected to be issued soon while terms of the divorce will be worked out by the lawyers on both sides.

Boko Haram reportedly ‘beheading’ Christians in Gwoza

According to reports, Boko Haram militants are beheading young men in the Christian community in Gwoza, the Borno town that the insurgent group recently took over and declared an Islamic caliphate.

Sources from the town claim that Christian men who refuse to convert to Islam are being beheaded while the women are being forced into marriages with the insurgents.
"It is quite clear that terrorism has no friend, but it is abundantly clear that the Christians are worst hit. The whole town and the Parish rectory have been occupied by the terrorists. So many structures and items have been vandalized. Dozens have been killed and a lot of church structures have been burnt down. Christians in the town are really in a terrible situation, a moment of great persecution. Christian men were caught and beheaded, the women were forced to become Muslims and were taken as wives to the terrorists.” Rev. Fr. Gideon Obasogie, the social communications director of the catholic diocese of Maiduguri said. Continue...
“It might surprise you to know that no one knows the state of affairs in this terrorist zone. The houses of Christians that have fled are now occupied by the ‘haramists’. Their cars are used by the terrorists,” Rev Obasogie said.
He also said Boko Haram sympathizers in Gwoza showed the militants homes belonging to Christians and even showed them where some of the Christians went to hide when the killing began. They were fished out and killed.

I’m Not Ready To Commit Myself To The Mother Of My Kids – Rapper Reminisce Reveals

    Reminisce with Toke Makinwa during a recent interview

I am sure most of you don’t know fast rising rapper and Samsung ambassador, Reminisce is a father.

Not just a father of one, but two. Reminisce lives with the mother of his children, but he says he is not ready to formalize the union because he is still planning his future.

I am having issues with commitment he said. He also noted that he wrote Goldie’s popular song, Don’t Touch My Body, but he has no issues with her and her management for not crediting him.

He also spoke about the reason why he does not flaunt his wealth on social media. His words to Punch;

About formalizing his union with the mother of his two kids;

“Yes, we live together. But we have issues with commitment. I think we are not ready for marriage yet. We will formalize things when the right time comes. I am still planning my future because I am not going to be a musician forever.

I will quit music, maybe after a decade. I hope to also study Political Science overseas because I want to go into politics (House of Representatives) at some point as well.” Continue..

On why he does not flaunt his wealth on social media;

“I am a very reserved artiste. I am able to differentiate between Reminisce the artiste and Remi the family man. That is why I don’t promote luxury.

There is nothing I need that I can’t afford, but I am not going to show off on social media. When artistes do such a thing, they appear superficial and unapproachable to their fans. Instead, I simply invest in people.”
