Well, a godfather has many connotations. You could have  positive godfathers and negative ones. The good ones work towards making things work and succeed but if you have a godfather that is always challenging, he wants to make appointments, if you have 10 commissioners, he would want to have three or four. After you have given him two commissioners, he will say he wants Special Advisers, Special Assistants and he will even want to choose their portfolios but I said these things are not done like that and they said it is done like that, that is controversy.
There is a godfather who had an arrangement with the military that he would be paid N10m every month, I wasn’t there when the agreement was made. When I tried to stop it, I was dragged to President Obasanjo’s office and I told Obasanjo this is the situation I found on ground and Obasanjo said I had to go back and continue paying it; that it was legal. At what stage did I renege? They will always try to give a dog a bad name in order to hang it. Obasanjo gave them contracts worth billions of naira, they were super rich, there was nothing I could give to them.

The letter from ex-president olusegun obasanjo is really carnivorous.I term it carnivorous in that,it is aimed at eating ,tearing,and swallowing up Mr.president, GEJ.people should stop saying the letter is for Nigerians!no!its for Mr.president.He clearly stated it.it was not hideous in any form. He stated that Gej had an agreement to leave office after a tenure.I think obasanjo is just a godfather that has lost control.oh!yes,because he has lost grip of Gej and seeks another person he can control.the concept of godfatherism in Nigeria is ruining the so called democracy and polity of the country.Maybe they signed an agreement,maybe they didn't.however the case be,on the part of GEJ,I think as a man,you should stand on your word if you made a statement.I believe this 2nd term issue is the causal issue to other issues.if he refuses and insists on running,so be it,agreement or not!it wasn't officially signed else there would be a documented proof or a signatory to a law firm.They should please let us all be.Nigerians are suffering and the leaders are worsening things.Thank God for the npdp movement.Its better they leave than sit on the fence causing trouble.its really pathetic that there's so much goodies attached to public offices.in my view I would say all their excesses and allowances be cut so,these seats won't be too enticing.There are lots of problems to be settled yet you see law makers deliberate on selfish interests such as child marriage.please where are we heading to?Nigeria,stand up and embrace the virtue of past heroes.Stop all these questionable letters,critics,etc to score cheap political points.
